At the 2018 LA Auto Show, Nissan gave us a first look at two new Nissan vehicles: the 2019 Nissan Maxima and 2019 Nissan Murano. Both the 2019 Nissan Maxima and the Nissan Murano offer high-tech safety features standard in base models. However, Nissan doubled down with an all-new safety package. These new Kia vehicles are set to arrive at Libertyville Nissan very soon, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
Both the Maxima and Murano come standard with forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking. New equipment like the driver attention warning system and a rear door alert for reminders of a backseat passenger take the level of standard safety up a notch.
However, the new package seals the deal. It’s called the Safety Shield 360. With this package, you’ll get a range of systems:
- Enhanced automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection
- Blind-spot warning
- Rear cross-traffic warning
- Lane departure warning
The Safety Shield 360 package comes standard in both models’ Platinum trim. For the 2019 Nissan Maxima, it’s part of the SR Premium package. In the Nissan Murano, it’s optional in the SL.
